"There are no other Everglades in the world. They are and they always been, one of the unique regions of the Earth; Remote, never wholly known.  Nothing else is like them."
- Marjory Stoneman Douglas

The Everglades: A Land Worth Protecting

For thousands of years, the Everglades has existed as one of the most unique and fragile ecosystems on Earth. But human impact — through urban expansion, invasive species, and pollution — threatens its future.

At GoNature, we believe that by experiencing its raw beauty, people gain a deeper appreciation for its delicate balance and the urgent need for conservation.

Every tour is designed to explore uncharted waters and hidden trails, but also to educate and inspire guests to become stewards of this extraordinary wilderness.

From removing invasive species to promoting sustainable tourism, our mission is clear:  Protect and preserve the Everglades for generations to come.

Conservation in Action

  • Respecting and preserving native habitats

  • Removing invasive plants and species during select tours

  • Educating guests about local wildlife and environmental impact

  • Supporting clean waterways through low-impact eco-tour practice

Guided Clean-Up Efforts

Depending on the tour, there may be opportunities for guests to participate in a light clean-up of the trails or waterways, helping remove litter or invasive species from the environment.

This could include collecting trash or identifying and removing invasive plants, like the Brazilian Pepper.

Educational Engagement

Guests will be educated on the importance of the Everglades ecosystem and its role in the broader environment, especially regarding water flow, wildlife habitats, and the balance of the ecosystem. This knowledge empowers them to become advocates for the Everglades’ protection once they leave.

Help Combat Invasive Species

Invasive species like the Burmese python that are threatening the Everglades. Support efforts to monitor and control these species with direct involvement.

Encouraging Sustainable Tourism

After their tour, guests can share their experiences with friends and family, encouraging others to take part in sustainable tourism practices when visiting the Everglades or any natural site. Educating others about eco-friendly tourism can increase the collective effort toward conservation.

Education is the key.

Through photography and hands-on experiences, we aim to cultivate a deeper respect for nature, inspiring people of all ages to become more environmentally conscious.

True conservation starts at the grassroots level—with greater awareness of the incredible wildlife that calls this place home and a commitment to preserving the landscapes that make the Everglades so unique.
